Joey Chan is a Registered Acupuncturist that is driven by the philosophy and holistic views of Chinese medicine.

Joey offers acupuncture with a very gentle, positive and holistic approach. In her sessions she may use a combination of acupuncture, cupping, Tuina and nutritional and lifestyle therapies.
Acupuncture is a safe and effective medicine for children and adults for a variety of conditions such as women’s health, fertility, gastrointestinal health, skin conditions, psychological health, pain and injuries, sleep health, anxiety and stress. Joey has a keen interest in neurological conditions such as Bells Palsy, stroke, and Parkinson’s.

Joey completed her undergraduate degree at UBC in Human Kinetics and went on to studying Chinese Medicine. She studied at the International Collage of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Vancouver, Pacific Rim Collage in Victoria and Toronto School of TCM. She graduated with an Acupuncture and Herbalist Diploma and Doctorate of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2013.

In-Home Acupuncture is a service where our registered acupuncturist, Joey Chan, visits your home to provide acupuncture treatments. The primary difference from a clinic visit is the convenience and comfort of receiving treatment in your own space, eliminating the need for commuting and waiting in a clinic environment.

Initial sessions are 60 minutes and $170.00
Follow Up sessions are 45 minutes and $150.00 -
Absolutely! Our primary Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Registered Acupuncturist, Joey Chan, follows all the necessary safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe and sterile environment for your treatment. All equipment is sanitized, and we adhere to the highest standards of care, just as you would expect in a clinic setting.

Each session typically lasts between 45 minutes to an hour. Before our visit, we recommend you choose a quiet and comfortable space in your home where you can relax. Wear loose-fitting clothing for easy access to acupuncture points and ensure you've had a light meal an hour or two before the session.

Most Extended Insurance does include Acupuncture sessions. However, coverage for In-Home Acupuncture varies depending on your insurance provider and plan. We recommend checking with your insurance company beforehand. If acupuncture is covered, In-Home services often are as well. We can either direct bill on your behalf provide all necessary documentation for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

You can definitely book regular In-Home Acupuncture sessions! Many of our clients find regular treatments beneficial for maintaining balance and well-being. We offer both single sessions and follow-up treatment for those interested in ongoing care.
