Our comprehensive program includes:

  • Our OT will conduct a thorough assessment, reviewing medical history, mobility needs, functional capacity, and equipment requirements. This collaborative process includes discussions with family members and healthcare providers (if applicable). Following the assessment, the OT will provide recommendations for wheelchairs and other necessary equipment, communicating directly with both the family and vendors.

  • Once equipment needs are determined, our OT will coordinate with vendors and family members to source the best-fit components. This includes reviewing client dimensions, ensuring proper measurements, and handling communication with suppliers. If required, the OT can also complete an equipment justification report for submission to extended health insurance providers to facilitate coverage.

  • In collaboration with the wheelchair vendor, our OT ensures the wheelchair and its components are properly fitted for maximum comfort and functionality. Adjustments and modifications are made on-site as needed to ensure an optimal fit.

  • If any further adjustments are needed due to ill-fitting parts, additional sessions will be provided at no extra cost to the family.

PACKAGES

Our Wheelchair Packages

Our goal is to make the process of acquiring and fitting mobility equipment as seamless as possible, ensuring each client receives the best possible support for their needs.


Standard Wheelchair Package – $500

Includes:

✔ 1-hour OT assessment
✔ 1-hour case management
✔ 1-hour wheelchair fitting
✔ Adjustments at the time of fitting


Enhanced Wheelchair Package – $650

Includes everything in the
Standard Package, plus:

✔ A follow-up visit 1-2 months after delivery to ensure long-term comfort and functionality
✔ Additional minor adjustments as needed
